Working Pattern – 40 hours per week (Hybrid)
Salary – £32,000 - 36,000

About the role
To work closely with Estimating, Commercial and Delivery teams to maximise the subcontract procurement opportunities and deliver a best-in-class service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Support the subcontract tendering process through early engagement, by issuing detailed package enquiries to subcontractors in line with company procedures.
- Carry out negotiations, analyse quotes and provide recommendations to promote best value.
- Establish a clear understanding of the project objectives whilst driving innovative solutions.
- Carry out compliance checks with new and existing supply chain partners.
- Placement of materials, plant and subcontract orders ensuring they are processed on time and in budget.
- Monitor performance of the supply chain and carry out reviews.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
What we need from you
- NEC contract experience
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation skills
- Subcontract procurement experience in a construction related environment.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach through proactive collaboration.
What we would like from you
- Knowledge of the UK Water sector supply chain
- CIPS
