We are currently seeking a talented Case Review Manager to join our client, a pioneering organisation in the tech industry. Our client will be providing users with an independent platform to challenge social media content moderation decisions. As the Case Review Manager, you will be an integral part of the Case Review Team, responsible for designing and managing operational processes to ensure accurate and independent resolution of user disputes. Our client differentiates itself through the development and application of their own Normative Framework, appealing to those who seek more challenging content reviews tied to appeals workflows.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Policy Specialists, Market Specialists, and Case Review Specialists
- Review and moderate user appeals by providing real-time input to case reviewers
- Monitor operational metrics and optimise resources to ensure SLA achievement
- Continuously monitor and evaluate case review processes, policies, and technologies for improvement
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with guidelines and industry best practises
- Foster an environment of learning through coaching and ongoing training programmes
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive efficient and high-quality review processes
Requirements:
- Degree educated with a strong interest or specialisation in human rights, legal issues, or technology
- Professional experience in trust and safety operations, content moderation, or compliance
- Proven track record in applying policy and market context to deliver quality moderation results
- Expertise in content policy for user-generated content platforms
- Familiarity with internet laws and policy regulations, particularly the Digital Services Act
- Strong communication and people management skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- Proficiency in English and at least one other European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch)
- Experience working in multiple countries and/or diverse multinational workplaces
