What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • ‍Oversee the school kitchen, ensuring students enjoy tasty, healthy meals
  • Manage stock, place orders, and keep the kitchen running smoothly
  • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
  • Lead, motivate, and support your kitchen team
  • Create exciting menus that keep students looking forward to lunchtime 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Cooking Expertise: Strong experience in food preparation, including bulk catering
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle changing demands and unexpected situations
  • Leadership Skills: Comfortable managing a team when needed
  • Sales Awareness: Willingness to participate in unit sales promotions
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to order supplies online and maintain accurate records
  • Customer Focus: Create a warm and welcoming environment for students
  • Pressure Handling: Stay calm and deliver great results in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Food Hygiene Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety regulations
  • Team Player Attitude: Positive, "can-do" mindset to support the team
  • Driving License & Vehicle: Essential for travel between school sites
