Your Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our Commercial team. You will thrive in a supportive learning environment that encourages personal growth and career progression.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, maintaining, and processing financial and project transactions.
- analysing project costs and preparing monthly cost reports with insightful commentary.
- Conducting site visits for inspections.
- Collaborating with construction teams, clients, and professionals at all levels.
- Valuing completed work and managing payment applications.
- utilising systems and processes for effective commercial performance measurement.
- Assisting in delivering accurate, real-time monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and forecasts.
- Attending meetings with Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
- Supporting the Commercial and Sales team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties.
What is required from you:
- HNC / BSc Qualifications (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or construction related discipline
- Good understanding of contract law
- Transitional construction experience and good knowledge of highways preferred
- NEC 3 / 4 contract experience desired
- Experience of producing reports on a monthly basis
- 3 years' experience within the construction or highways industry
- Full UK driving licence
