Role – Field Service Engineer                   

Location – Scotland

Contract Type - Permanent

Working Pattern – Home based with an on-call rota (days, nights and weekend)

Salary – £32,000 - 36,000 (with overtime and call out available)

Start Date - ASAP

About the role – Field Service Engineer

An excellent opportunity to work as an Engineer for a global company with over 15,000 employees worldwide.

You will be given a company vehicle and will be provided with all the necessary tools required to perform the role.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing and repairing of automatic doors, manual doors and products from other manufacturer’s range
  • Visiting clients across Scotland
  • Opportunity to work on installations as part of the role
  • Assist other network engineers and field support specialists on the field
  • On call rota (days, nights and weekend)

 

What we need from you

  • Previously worked as an auto or industrial door engineer with the ability to maintain and service either auto doors, sectional and roller doors or various other products within the sector
  • Consideration may be given to candidates who wish to re-train from the automatic gate and barrier industry
  • IT literacy with the ability to use tablet, phone or app-based reporting and customer portals.
  • Have the flexibility to cover on call arrangements as and when required
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualification for the work that you have carried out in the past (i.e. current EN16005 for auto doors, CSCS card, IPAF licence etc), but we can support experienced engineers to update their certifications
