Role – Field Service Engineer                   

Location – South Wales and Avon

Contract Type - Permanent

Working Pattern – Home based with an on-call rota (days, nights and weekend)

Salary – £32,000 - 34,000 (with overtime and call out available)

Start Date - ASAP

About the role – Field Service Engineer

An excellent opportunity to work as an Engineer for a global company with over 15,000 employees worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing of automatic and manual doors, entrance equipment, rollers, sectional doors and products from other range
  • Repairing a range of automatic, manual and sectional doors alongside other entrance equipment and rollers
  • Visiting clients across a given region
  • The role will involve an on-call rota

 

What we need from you

  • Previously worked as a field service engineer in the auto or industrial door sector with the ability to maintain and service either auto doors, sectional and roller doors or various other products within the sector. Consideration may be given to those from the automatic gate and barrier industry.
  • IT literacy with the ability to use tablet, phone or app-based reporting and customer portals.
  • Have the flexibility to cover on call arrangements as and when required
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualification for the work that you have carried out in the past (i.e. current EN16005 for auto doors, CSCS card, IPAF licence etc), but we can support experienced engineers to update their certifications
