Location – Wakes Colne, Colchester

Contract Type - Permanent

Working hours - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary – Up to £24,960

Start Date - ASAP

About the role – Production Assembler

Our client is looking for a Production Assembler who can work with power and hand tools to help build simple machines and assemblies.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be engaged in the manufacture and assembly of specialist orders for customers.
  • Working with basic hand tools you will mainly adapt existing aluminium components, cutting, bending, drilling and some plate engraving primarily to the clients’ requirements.
  • Although we expect you to be able to use hand tools, some training will be available in the safe use of other workshop equipment you will come into contact with.

 

What we need from you

  • Good knowledge and understanding about the safe use of hand tools and can follow customer instructions
  • Ability to produce precise and accurate work as required
  • Able to liaise and collaborate with other members of the team, including the office staff, to meet customer service requirements
  • Responsible team player, who is flexible and happy to help in other departments where required
  • Necessary support and training will be provided by the internal team
