Salary – £65,000 - 70,000 + up to 15% bonus

About the role - Production Manager - Beverage Can

We are seeking a qualified Production Manager to join our client's organisation, a world leader in the metal packaging production process.

Our client is known for designing and manufacturing innovative and sustainable metal packaging solutions for some of the largest and most respected companies globally.

As the leader of the Production Engineering Team, you will be responsible for enhancing manufacturing processes in terms of quality, cost, and efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and exhibiting high standards for influencing behaviours to drive and support a culture of excellence across the team in daily activities, as well as in continuous improvement projects
  • Exceed the Plant’s KPI targets with focus on safety, product quality, line efficiency spoilage, and raw material usage
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels whilst providing up-to-date information and feedback to relevant parties

 

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in structuring and leading Production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject
  • Background in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven record of clear and concise communication at all levels
  • Self-starter and effective team player with strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrable People Management skills

 

What we would like from you

  • Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodology
  • Lean Six-Sigma certification
