About the role – Service Estimator

An excellent opportunity to work as an Estimator for a global company with over 15,000 employees worldwide.

You will be responsible for checking details, understanding drawings and putting together accurate costings for different types of service work.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will have estimating experience and will be responsible for the preparation of quotes in accordance with the company pricing structures and procedures.
  • A clear focus on customer needs and expectations is required, as you will be expected to interpret architectural drawings to satisfy the customer needs.
  • In addition, you will be expected to prepare quotes using product drawings as well as Engineer survey details therefore you will have technical understanding.
  • You may also be supporting customers and internal colleagues therefore you will have great communication skills.

 

What we need from you

  • Previous experience of working within an Estimating role (working towards targets is essential)
  • The role requires a high degree of numeracy and strong attention to detail
  • You will have excellent IT skills in MS office as well as good administration skills
  • Working as part of a successful Service department you will have the ability to prioritise workload and operate in a flexible manner to work to deadlines and KPIs
  • You will be a competent user of IT Systems and ideally have experience of using CRM and SAP
  • Product training and support will be provided
