About the role – Trade Counter Sales Representative 

The role is to provide a “bridge” between the customer and the trade counters depot. Based from home in the North West of England, you will visit existing and new customers on a regular basis. You could be discussing upcoming projects, identify opportunities and promoting new products which could be of interest to the client.

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the trade counter depot. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to promote new products and services
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, product details, and changes in legislation
  • Providing excellent customer service and acting as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Working closely with the team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve targets

 

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in promoting technical products
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Strong organisational and self-management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Full UK, manual driver's licence with no more than three penalty points

 

What we like from you

  • Knowledge of the construction or facilities industries
  • Experience with IT systems for sales orders and customer relations management
