Role – Civils Administrator       

Location – Fairlee, Isle of Wight

Contract Type - Permanent

Working Pattern – Office based

Salary – £22,000 - 24,000

Start Date - ASAP

About the role 

To maintain administrative duties, work alongside the planner and supervisors. Providing timely updates to customers. Ensure the gangs have their work on Corona, close the work for commercial team. Be a liaison for Southern Water call centre for civils work via email in the county inbox. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the work group for civils
  • Ensure gangs have work sent to phone on time
  • Send supervisors/gangs sewer maps and utility drawings 
  • Update and manage the Civils work list for the County
  • Update customers by telephone and keep CSMS updated
  • Close completed work orders in time for billing
  • Answer enquiries via email from Southern Water
  • Provide admin support to other counties when required
  • Be part of a 1 in 4 call out rota to provide drawings to operatives in emergencies
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

 

What we need from you

  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to think logically
  • Understanding and knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Maps (O/S)
  • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of Southern Water IT systems (Ellipse, CSMS, Mapinfo)
  • Understanding of Cappagh Browne IT Systems (Corona)
