Role – Head of Operations         

Location – Hampshire, Sussex or Kent

Contract Type - Permanent

Working Pattern – Hybrid

Salary – £90,000 - 110,000

Start Date - ASAP

About the role 

  • Lead and manage the Discipline Operation Managers.
  • Work in close cooperation with the Client to deliver the Framework objectives.
  • Meet SLA’s including ensuring that we have sufficient accredited and experience (direct and or supply chain) resource that delivers works safely, first time right, on time, and within budget across the IOW, Hampshire, Sussex, and Kent. 

 

Responsibilities

  • To have full understanding of workload/projects 
  • Ensure sufficient resources to workload/project 
  • Manage and monitor projects and teams  
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed 
  • Drive daily performance  
  • Client liaison and management 
  • Ensure strong budget control including change management  
  • Maintain records and ensure that they are on the central SharePoint repository 
  • Report on progress & performance 
  • Supporting all functions of the business to work together effectively 
  • Communicate changes to relevant parties
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

 

What we need from you

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Good communications skills
  • High competence in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint 
  • Full UK driving license

 

What we would like from you

  • Previous experience in a senior operations management role 
  • NEBOSH Construction
  • Utility multi-year framework experience in either WasteWater, Water, Electric, or Gas
  • Additionally preferable experience if in Reactive Repair and Maintenance Experience 
  • Deep excavation experience
  • Competence with MS Project, Power BI
  • High Pressure Jetting
  • NRSWA Supervisor
