Role – Process Monitoring Electrical Engineer

Salary – £35,000 - 40,000

About the role
- Working with a team of engineers to develop and deploy new technologies into production environments.
- This role would ideally suit a time-served electrical apprentice or technically trained individual.
- A part of this role will require site visits to production facilities in UK, Europe, America and Asia-Pacific, thus prospective applicants must be able to demonstrate the flexibility to travel and spend periods away from home.
Responsibilities
- Deployment of process monitoring equipment into customer plants, providing technical support on installation/commissioning.
- Training plant personnel as required, Ensuring maximum positive impact of technology.
- Implementation of solutions to fix short and long term issues on process monitoring equipment.
- Ongoing day-to-day remote support of deployed equipment.
- Preparation of documentation, training material and SOP’s.
- Creation of electrical drawings and BOMs.
- Safe working - understand and ensure is under taken with safety as a focus.
- Commitment to delivery of projects within budget and to an agreed timescale.
- Focus on achieving results, meeting objectives and self-development.
- Team worker who can discuss, interact and work closely with other members of the team and different departments across multiple engineering discipline.
What we need from you
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar or qualified with significant experience
- Logical approach
- Problem solving orientation
- Quality focus
- IT Proficient (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
What we would like from you
- Previous experience in beverage can making and exposure to project management
- Previous experience in an Electrical production environment
- Electronics, PCBs knowledge
- Understanding of PLC Programming
- Experience in preparing SOPs & Product documentation
